Sibiu Cycling Tour 2020

Heute wurden die teilnehmenden Teams  bei der Jubiläumsausgabe der „Sibiu Cycling Tour“ offiziell auf der Bühne des Großen Rings von Sibiu dem Publikum vorgestellt. Aufgrund der Corona-Krise ist es das erste große internationale Fahrradrennen, und deshalb haben wir dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal zwei World Tour-Teams vor Ort: Bora-Hansgrohe (Deutschland) und Israel Start-up Nation (Israel). Diese treten zusammen mit anderen 20 Kontinental- und Nationalmannschaften aus anderen 10 Ländern an. 

Der offizielle Rennstart ist morgen Nachmittag, wenn alle Teilnehmer den Prolog im historischen Zentrum von Sibiu fahren müssen. In den Tagen danach (24, 25, 26.07) wird das Rennen auf Strecken durch den gesamten Landeskreis Sibiu abgehalten, einschließlich der weithin bekannten Transfagarasan Strasse mit einem Ankunftspunkt bei 2036 Höhenmeter.

 Wir werden Sie auf dem Laufenden halten, da wir während des gesamten Rennens mit den Teams auf den Strecken sein werden.

Sibiu Cycling Tour 2020

Today the participating teams at the anniversary edition of “Sibiu Cycling Tour “ where presented officially on the stage in the Big Square of Sibiu. Because of the Corona Crisis, it’s the first big international cycling event, and that’s why we have this year for the first time two World Tour Teams on site: Bora-Hansgrohe (Germany) and Israel Start-up Nation (Israel). They are competing together with other 20 continental & national teams from other 10 countries. 

The official race start will be tomorrow, when all the competitors must do the prologue in the historical center of Sibiu; in the days after (24, 25, 26) the race will move out from town on tracks through the entire Sibiu County, including the far-famed Transfagarasan Road with a maximum of 2036 m highness arrival point.

We will keep you updated because we will be with the teams along their tracks during the entire race.
