Sibiu Cycling Tour 2020 – Etappe 3
Die letzte Etappe des Rennens war in zwei Teile aufgeteilt: Der erste war eine Kletterprobe und der zweite ein weiterer Geschwindigkeitstest.
Die 12,5 km lange Etappe 3 A (Klettern) fand in der Nähe von Sibiu statt. Sie begann in einem Tal am Fuße der Berge und endete in über 1700 m Hohe in der Nähe von Paltinis (Hohe Rinne), einem bekannten Skigebiet. Trotz des morgendlichen Regens war das Wetter später auf der Seite der Teilnehmer und ihrer Fans. Fur diese Etappe starteten die Teilnehmer in einem Abstand von je 60 Sekunden, die Zeit wurde für jeden von ihnen einzeln gestoppt. Die besten 3 dieses ersten Teils des Tages waren:
1. Mühlberger Gregor, 26: 11,14 Min (Bora-Hansgrohe Team Deutschland)
2. Badilatti Matteo, 27: 13,35 Min (Israel Start-Up Nation)
3. Konrad Patrick, 27: 15,18 Min (Bora-Hansgrohe Team Deutschland)
Am Nachmittag wird der zweite Start des Tages die Sieger der Jubilaumsausgabe der Sibiu Tour entscheiden.
Etappe 3 B, 109 km rund um Sibiu. Die Strecke fuhrt uns durch wunderschöne Landschaften und alte Dörfer. Nach dem Start begann der Regen für kurze Zeit wieder. In diesem Akt der Sibiu Tour 2020 blieben nur noch 101 Teilnehmer (von 129) für die letzte Schlacht übrig. Nach ca. 2 Stunden waren die Gewinner entschieden. Und das sind sie:
1. Pascal Ackermann, 2: 15: 38,07 Std (Bora-Hansgrohe Team Deutschland)
2. Michael Schwarzmann, 2: 15: 38,07 Std (Bora-Hansgrohe Team Deutschland)
3. Eduard-Michael Grosu, 2: 15: 38,07 Std (Nippo Delko One Provence Team France)
Die Gewinner der Sibiu Cycling Tour 2020 sind:

2. Patrick Konrad
3. Matteo Badilatti
Die Top 3 Teams der Sibiu Cycling Tour 2020 sind:
1. Elkov – Kasper Team (Tschechei)
2. Vini Zabu KTM Team (Italien) – nicht auf dem Bild mit dem Podium der Teams, weil sie sich weigerten, auf die Buhne zu steigen
3. Nippo Delko One Provence (Frankreich)
Leider war damit die 10. Ausgabe dieser großartigen Veranstaltung zu Ende. Das erste Feedback aller Teilnehmer was die Organisation anbetrifft war sehr positiv und wir können diesen Meinungen nur zustimmen. Bis nächstes Jahr!

The last stage of the race was split in two separate pieces: the first one was a climb contest and the second one another speed contest.
Stage 3 A, 12,5 km long (climbing) took place near Sibiu, with start from a valley on foot of the mountains and the finish at over 1700 m attitude, near Paltinis, a well known ski resort. Despite the morning rain, the weather was on the side of the competitors and their fans later. On this stage, the riders take their start at 60 seconds distance between each other, the time was counted individually for each of them. The best 3 of the this part of the day are:
- Muhlberger Gregor , 26:11,14 min (Bora-Hansgrohe Team Germany)
- Badilatti Matteo , 27:13,35 min (Israel Start-Up Nation)
- Konrad Patrick , 27:15,18 min (Bora-Hansgrohe Team Germany)
In the afternoon, the second start of the day will decide the winners.
Stage 3 B, 109 km around Sibiu, through beautiful landscapes and old villages. After the second start of the day, the rain began again for a short while. In this last act of the Sibiu Tour 2020 only 101 competitors (from 129) remain for the last battle. After aprox. 2 hours, the winners where decided. And here there are:

- Michael Schwarzmann , 2:15:38,07 hrs (Bora-Hansgrohe Team Germany)
- Eduard-Michael Grosu , 2:15:38,07 hrs (Nippo Delko One Provence Team France)

And here’s the end of the 10th edition of this great event. The first feedback from all participants about the organization was a very positive one and we can only approve this. Until next year !
